Hold Arrow Keys or W A S D to walk around
You can wade through ponds, but it slows you down — the creatures stay dry
Keep out of the dark water past the shallows: it's too deep to stand in
Press Space to swing your sword
One hit defeats a slime or a mushroom — but a touch costs you half a heart
The crabs down on the beach have shells: those take two swings to crack
Lose all three hearts and you wake up back where you started
Enemies sometimes drop a berry — walk over it to pocket it (5 at most)
Click the pouch by the hearts or press I to open your inventory,
then eat a berry for a heart
Press M to turn the music off, or back on again
Click the pause button by the hearts, or press P, to stop the world
Buy a shield from Sela the Smith, then hold F to raise it —
it turns aside anything that comes at your front
Press G, or the button beside the hearts, to fill the screen
Walk up to a door to go inside, and press E to talk to people
Finish the quest and a door opens — follow the arrow and step through
Walk off the edge of the screen to explore the next area
